Getting Ready

For company. How many of you people out there make your house as spic and span as possible for company? I think that I'm of the mindset to leave the house in its state of normal. It is to stressful to do a manic cleanup. I don't know about you but I can't relax once company gets here because of the whirlwind that is caused by the manic cleanup. We are pretty organized here anywise. In a few days my sister and her family are coming to visit. To get ready I cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed upstairs. That is it! That is all I plan on doing. (The beds are made already) I feel happier with this. I can relax and enjoy! I'm rambling. Goodness! :-)

Floor Recovery Update

Well, the floor is fixed now! Oh, wood floor laminate how I love thee. I love the installers too! No more chemical smell in the house. Maybe we can put everything back into its place now.

So... Long

Since I have written. My life seems to be the same as always. One big event that is frustrating right now is our home renovation project. I call it floor recovery. Why the heck anyone would paint glue and lay carpet on a beautiful hardwood floor is beyond me. Day two and the floor still looks horrible. The house stinks of chemical that didn't help. Tomorrow we will rent a floor sander. Ugh!
